Weekend

Fairly cloudy to begin with, but the sun forced its way through eventually. A pleasant walk round this morning, and I took some video; that’s at the end, with the full list of sightings.

Lots of Coots on the lake, and plenty of Tufted Duck all around too. Big numbers of Wood Pigeons flying over, and managed to catch one lot on the video. And at the end of my walk, about 25 Lapwing flying westward.

Plenty of finches round by the car park today, and a few young Blackbirds too.

Hope you enjoy the video; thought it would make a change.

(Arrrgh, I noticed I messed up the title at the beginning; never mind.)

  1. Superb Keith and the Ian Dury soundtrack is great. You sound just like the late and great. I have thought about using video it does suit wildlife photography. I'm hoping Santa will bring an HD capable DSLR. I've fed the pigs and they are flying. Lets have more of this.......please.
